South Lake Union's Premier Pet Groomer
Seattle Canine Club South Lake Union is our urban grooming and daycare facility at 411 Westlake Ave N, a few blocks from Lake Union Park and the Amazon Spheres. Open since October 2025, this location focuses on Dog Grooming and Cat Grooming with Dog Daycare tailored to customers commuting from Amazon, Meta, UW Medicine, Fred Hutch, and the rest of the SLU tech corridor. Free on-site parking is available through the alley off 9th Ave N, and the South Lake Union Streetcar stops a short walk away. Overnight boarding is handled at our SoDo location with transport between SoDo and SLU on our dedicated van.

Yes. South Lake Union is one of only two Seattle Canine Club locations that offers cat grooming. Services include baths, lion cuts, nail trims, nail caps, and gentle handling for sensitive or elderly cats in a fear-free environment.
Yes. Reservations are required for grooming and daycare so we can manage capacity, maintain appropriate staff-to-dog ratios, and give every pet a calm, predictable experience.
South Lake Union is open weekdays from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
We offer dedicated free on-site parking, accessed through the alley between our building and the Amazon building on 9th Ave N. The South Lake Union Streetcar stops a short walk away on Westlake, and King County Metro routes run along Westlake Ave N and Fairview Ave N.
Most dog grooming appointments take two to four hours depending on coat type, size, and condition. Cat grooming typically takes one to two hours. We schedule appointments so your pet is not kenneled longer than necessary.
Yes. All dogs must be current on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. Canine Influenza is strongly recommended. All cats must be current on Rabies and FVRCP. Please send vaccination records from your vet before your first visit. Dogs on daycare require a fecal screening done in the past 12 months.
Yes. Our South Lake Union team includes Fear-Free certified groomers experienced with anxious, senior, and special-needs dogs and cats. Tell us about your pet's needs when you book and we will match them with the right groomer and schedule extra time if needed.
