We’ve been caring for Seattle dogs and cats since 2004. SoDo is where you’ll find our full suite of services — dog daycare, dog boarding, dog grooming, and cat boarding — with on-site parking, trained staff, and 24/7 monitoring for overnight stays. Dog Daycare
Our dog daycare runs Monday through Sunday with structured group play, rest breaks, and meal and medication service for pups who need it. We group dogs by size, temperament, and play style — not just breed — so shy dogs aren’t stuck with the rowdy crew and the high-energy group gets room to actually run. Our SoDo play floor has a large area for bigger dogs that we can split into smaller groups as needed, plus a separate area for small and sensitive dogs.
Daycare is $58 a day at every location, and packages and memberships bring that down if your dog is a regular. First visit? You’ll need a short meet-and-greet so we can see how your dog does in the group.
Dog Boarding
Dog boarding at SoDo means your dog plays with the daycare group during the day and sleeps in a clean, quiet kennel at night — no being left alone in a crate for twelve hours. We have 24/7 monitoring, and isolated boarding is available for dogs who prefer their own space or need a break from group play.

Dog Grooming
Our SoDo grooming salon is a dedicated space, separate from the daycare floor, staffed by Fear-Free certified groomers who work with all breeds, coat types, and temperaments. Baths start at $50 for small dogs and full grooms start at $95, with add-ons for de-shedding, teeth brushing, and specialty cuts. Most appointments take three to four hours — we don’t rush the anxious ones.
You can book dog grooming in Seattle at SoDo online, and if your dog is also a daycare regular we can often schedule a groom during the same visit. Prefer a neighborhood grooming-only shop? Our Capitol Hill location on 15th Ave E handles dog and cat grooming.
Cat Boarding
SoDo is the only Seattle Canine Club location with cat boarding. We board up to three cats at a time in individual condos with blankets, scratch walls, and daily cleaning and playtime. The cat room is separate from every dog area so your cat stays calm.

SoDo is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our early weekday hours are designed to work with Seattle commute schedules.
We have convenient on-site parking right on our property at 2751 4th Ave S. We're also a short walk from the SoDo light rail station on the 1 Line, and bus routes on 4th Ave S stop nearby.
Most grooms take about 3 to 4 hours depending on your dog's size, coat condition, and temperament. We focus on quality and comfort rather than rushing. Let us know at drop-off if you have specific timing needs.
Yes. All dogs must be up to date on Bordetella, DHPP/DAP, and Rabies vaccinations, plus a negative fecal screening for daycare and boarding. You can email current vaccination records to info@seattlecanineclub.com before your first visit.
Yes. We regularly work with dogs and cats who need extra patience, quieter spaces, or gentle handling. Please let us know about any medical, behavioral, or anxiety-related needs ahead of time so we can plan accordingly. Isolated boarding is available for dogs who do better away from group play.
