HUGE news at Seattle Canine Club! A Partnership of passion
Hello to all of our Canine Club members and friends! We could not be happier to announce the partnership of Seattle Canine Club and Feeding Pets of the Homeless! The partnership has become a recent addition to our day to day business and we wanted to dedicate a space to talk about this, as their mission and what they provide for communities all over the United States is exactly what we support and are passionate about too. Not only do we have that to share with everyone but we wanted to talk more in detail regarding our new services as well as summer boarding!

Working together to help our communities
We are ecstatic to announce our new found partnership with Feeding Pets of the Homeless! We found that this would be a great partnership in that our values align and that they have a mission we truly and wholeheartedly believe in. If you aren’t familiar with Feeding Pets of the Homeless, they are a non-profit organization who’s been around since 2008. In that time they’ve managed to donate 2.4 Million pounds of dog food, donate over $6 Million in veterinary care including food and crates, have helped over 31 thousand dogs and cats, and have 112 donation sites nationwide! For those in a less fortunate situation, their furry friend can be all that they have to give them motivation in turning their life around and Pets of the Homeless is one of few organizations that are there that provide care and food and their efforts align with our views here at Seattle Canine Club.
In our Partnership we are actually having our very own drive as well to be able to donate to their organization! We have a large box near the front desk where you’ll be able to donate sealed dry dog food, cat food, and canned dog and cat food! Along with those items we’re also able to accept New and gently used pet supplies! (Collars, leashes, harnesses, pet beds, bowls, etc). Along with Cat latter, cat toys, scratching posts, pads, and flea and tic treatment!
If you, our club members have any questions we’d love to answer them for you, for now if you’re interested in donating please feel free to bring in what you like to donate and we’ll be able to sort them at the front desk for you!
New services!
Enrichment service, a one-on-one play time for your pup!
As some of you may have seen at our front desk – We now offer an Enrichment service! Robert, one of our wonderful staff members, has taken the time to learn as much as possible about dog behaviors and how we can best give them an environment where they can play as much as they want and be able to relax comfortably and safely!
This is a newer service that we’ll be able to add on for Daycare and Boarding dogs, this one-on-one time that your pup would have with Robbie would feature reinforcement of good habits and training basic commands, and most importantly for your pup, a place to be able to run around and let out all their energy, with Robbie as facilitator for that! At times our pups can feel potentially overwhelmed by the high energy they’re around or feel like they may not be able to run around as freely as they’d like, with the enrichment service they’ll be able to run around as much as they please with all that same love in-between.

Summer boarding – It’s almost time!
It feels like yesterday when spring had just hit, time spun the clock, the sun breaking through the clouds, and the cherry blossoms blooming all over Seattle! We are most certainly still in the midst of it all but, the team here at Seattle Canine Club makes sure that we stay one step ahead and we want to make sure we can help out as many of our club members as possible. We do often find ourselves at max capacity during the summer season so we want to remind you as far ahead of time as possible to please book ahead of time, even if you have to adjust the dates in the future its better to be safe than sorry!
To help out with your future summer plans, we’ll be providing a early summer booking discount! The code “SUMMER10” will grant you 10% off of your summer boarding if you book now! The code lasts all the way up until June 20th, the first day of summer, and as long as you use it before then you’ll receive as we said 10% off your next boarding for the summer.
What’s Next?
We at Seattle Canine Club are always evolving, and in this case we want to highlight upcoming additions to the store, primarily the creation of referral and loyalty programs! We love to take care of our club members and that means rewarding you not only for telling people about us, but for being a loyal patron to SCC! While we don’t have a set in stone date as of right now, we aim for as soon as the beginning of May and potentially earlier. We’re also going to be using our instagram as another platform you can communicate with us on and to find any updates or news from us that you may miss from emails!
