I have thoroughly enjoyed having Gideon be cared for here at SCC. The employees were VERY responsible with Gideon and I have always felt he... safe here. When concerns came up the management (owner Jose) takes the concerns seriously and takes the time effort and cost to make changes. You can count on the team at SCC to take care of your pet professionally and with lots of love! My dog broke her foot from a fall at Seattle Canine Club on 10/21/23. Here is the story of what happened. On 10/21/23 my 3 pound pom, Jam,... fell from being placed in a second tier crate and was not secured when the crate was open resulting in a broken foot. I received a call from the owner and was told she needed surgery. Surgery was done and I asked the owner if she needed to be kept separate from the other dogs post surgery. He said no and post surgery she was brought back to SCC and he told me she was my other dogs. I picked up all 4 of my dogs when I was back in town on 10/22/23 and saw my dog in the room where all the small dogs are boarded. I had a conversation with the owner about what happened and asked about safety going forward so no further accidents like this would happen again. I was told retraining of the staff would happen. On 10/23/23 I was able to take my dog to her regular vet to review the ER notes from her surgery and to figure out followup care. I was told this break in her foot would take 2-3 months to heal, she needs to be on bed rest and definitely should not be around other dogs until her bones heal. The only thing holding her bones in place is her splint. Being around other dogs especially right after surgery my dog runs the risk of rebreaking her bones. Yet, when I had picked my dog up from SCC on 10/22/23 I saw that she was around other dogs.On 10/29/23 when I went to pick up my other dogs from boarding, my dog, Peanut, wasn't secured in her carrier and ran out to the lobby unbeknownst to staff. Eventually a staff member came out to the lobby and admitted to not knowing she missed a zipper when putting her in her carrier. Luckily Peanut jumped out of her carrier inside the building and ran in the lobby and did not jump out outside on the busy street where she could have ran away, been injured or killed. Peanut is my emotional support animal. On 11/14/23 two of my dogs were set upon a countertop in their carrier, unsecured, after I came in to pick them up. I told the employee this wasn't okay and he said ok but he did not look at me when I said this. When he left the room I told other staff members and they said he shouldn't be allowed near the minis anymore and that this should be his final writeup. I told the owner what happened and he said this is unacceptable and terminated this employee. The owner admitted this wasn't this person's first issue with safety. On 11/15/23 I decided to stop boarding my dogs with Seattle Canine Club and let the owner know via email. I previously was told I would be compensated for Jam's ongoing medical issues. Due to continued issues I had decided to no longer board my dogs with SCC. At first the owner asked me to keep going with my monthly subscription until the difference in the balance of what they owe me for my dog's medical visits and what I owe them in boarding fees is 0. I reiterated in email that I do not wish to go forward boarding my dogs due to the other two incidents that happened. I am concerned how they handle small dogs given that I had 2 other separate safety issues happen in one month, despite being told there was retraining of the staff after my dog broke her foot on 10/21/23.I am now being told by the owner that SCC is no longer willing to pay for all the expenses they previously agreed to pay for now that I am no longer boarding my dogs with them. I am now being offered a lesser amount as a one time payment and no further payments would be offered. This payment is not in full for all of my expenses I have incurred nor will include my future expenses. I have already told the owner I have at least two more vet visits that will cost at least another $800. I am being offered this one time payment alongside a document asking me to agree to not talk to third parties about this document nor about what happened to me and my dogs. But I can't not talk to third parties about the fall my dog sustained as my dog has ongoing vet visits for the next month or two. Due to these reasons I personally would never board my dogs here again.read more

I cannot express enough how much I’ve enjoyed my experience working with SCC. Your dogs are like your children and it’s so tough to find a... place for boarding that can provide the safety, compassion and care of your own home. Well this place does it above and beyond!!! This is the first experience my dogs have had with daycare and boarding and I cannot articulate how incredible it has been for them and me! Their tails wag every time we come in now, they’re sad to leave and jump on the staff for kisses when we say bye, all of the staff knows them and José the owner is exceptional. All of the steps you complete before the meet and greet are essential to the safety and preservation of this wonderful business. Also, super convenient to be able to get them groomed while they’re staying. Reliable care and peace of mind is priceless. Absolutely love SCC and am looking forward to being a long time customer. Jose and team at Seattle Canine club are absolutely fantastic. I’ve been bringing my dog here for 2 years, since she was under a year old.... Every time we pull up to the daycare, she’s absolutely thrilled and races inside to greet everyone - I’m pretty sure she loves some of the staff more than she loves me.I’ve also had to leave her for longer periods of daycare due to traveling overseas for long stretches of time, and they’ve taken great care of her. On one of my trips, I had to drop my dog off before she could see a vet for her ear + skin allergies. Jose called me a few days in, since my dog’s allergies had gotten significantly worse. He gave me daily updates, and told me how they were treating her ear + skin infection, and they also gave her a bath without me asking, I really appreciated Jose’s great communication here, and also keeping me in the loop as to how my dog was doing.Along with feeding, the staff can also give medications (my dog get ear drops and pills, and hasn’t had any issues). They also gave my dog a little gift bag of treats, and a toy on her birthday, which was really appreciated (I was surprised since I hadn’t mentioned it was her birthday)I would definitely recommend Seattle Canine Club, due to their excellent staff and great care they provide. Oh they'll never forget her!!!Now my sweet pups, who are much smaller (mini schnauzers) are their guests. I will never go anywhere else. The staff to pups ratio is fantastic. They are so sweet and kind to the dogs. I trust them completely. There are different rooms for pups. Mine are currently in the small dog room where they'll be staying until September 3. I've been going to SCC for years!y old dogs went to there starting as puppies! Believe me when I say, those big dogs were an enormous handful!... Especially my girl Gatsby! I can rest easy knowing there in the best possible hands.I recommend them 110%!!!read more

My dog loves when she has her daycare appointment. She gets super excited when she sees us arrive at the daycare. Their prices are great. I... also just recently used their boarding for my dog and I and would definitely recommend them. The staff is great with the dogs and super friendly.read more
